I hear this question often and it really is surprising how many people think that is true. When in actuality, you don’t need any secondary education to be very successful. All you need is some ambition and drive.
Now please don’t take this as knocking the advantages of having an MBA. Any education is good and always a valuable resource to have. It is just the fact that you do not need MBA to start business. With the huge move to the internet for marketing all forms of business, the world has opened up to the average person to succeed online regardless of their education level.
It used to be that business education or tons of experience were almost a requirement for any type of entrepreneurship and success in business. Now with so many people making a very good living working from home with an online business, that model has collapsed. An education is still important, but it can be acquired online while you learn and earn in your business. I see this type of success every day, and thus the proof is there.
Since seeing so much success myself, without any formal business education, and seeing so many others of all ages, nationalities, lifestyles, etc, all succeed it proves to me that your formal education is most certainly not the most important thing. Those that I see succeed are willing to work. Seems like old tradition and that commercial on TV – “we earn our money the old fashioned way, we work for it”. This is indeed the truth with online marketing. You do not need an MBA to start your business, you need the mentoring and education from someone who has success and you need the personal motivation to put in the time and effort.
How much time and effort do you need to put in? That usually is a simple formula: time plus effort equals quantity of success. I have seen people with full time jobs at 60 hours a week grow thriving online businesses in a short time. I have seen work at home moms do the same while tending the home and several children. some of them are even home schooling. My hats off to all those ladies.
I really don’t want to drag this out. My objective here it to try to dispel some of the fear you might have thinking you need an MBA to start a business, when in fact you don’t. If you have been able to read and comprehend this short article, you have what it takes to succeed. You just need to apply what you have, with the right direction, and you can soon be making your living working from home marketing online in any field that you decide.
